Separate the postal location from the delivery plan
Describe the entrance, ground, obstacles and exact proposed position. Ask the supplier to assess access for the quoted equipment and vehicle. A cabin footprint does not account for turning, door clearance or the space people need around it.
Review the complete period of responsibility
Name a contact for receiving, service concerns and collection, even if different people handle those stages. Explain dates and any changes expected around the position. Confirm revisions before moving equipment and keep the approach available until removal.
Can the delivery instructions be used for removal too?
Consider whether parked vehicles, stored materials or a changed gate schedule will occupy the route later. Explain those differences before accepting a collection arrangement. Keep someone responsible for access until the equipment is removed; the end of the activity alone does not open the property to a supplier.
